What it does
Avelia Health builds a privacy-first mobile app for couples, covering the stretch from fertility through pregnancy to early childhood — one companion across life stages that are usually served by a patchwork of single-purpose apps.
Health data is as sensitive as data gets, so privacy decisions here are architecture decisions. Data stays with the couple instead of feeding an advertising pipeline.
My part in it
I am a co-founder and the main developer of the app and the backend infrastructure behind it. The product is built on a concept we developed together, grounded in a shared understanding of the real issues of parenthood.
